She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lewis Williams; her parents, Walter Adrian Harkleroad, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Harkleroad; and also Walter Adrian Harkleroad, Jr.. She is survived by: her son John Williams (Sara); her grandchildren, Ty Williams of Mt. Pleasant, SC. and Taj Williams of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; her boyfriend James Terrell of Newport; her aunt Janice Harkleroad; her niece Chris Edwards; and her close friends, Carol Hagerman of Cosby and Morgan.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to First Baptist Church (Newport) in memory of Julia.
