She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Raines, Jr.; her children, Nancy Frazier, T. J. Raines and Darrell Raines; her granddaughter Vickie Raines Sturgill; her parents, Edna Stokely and Frank Stokely; and her siblings, Bob Stokely, Donnie Stokely and Margaret Raines.
She is survived by: her children, Geneva Smelcer (Brian), Shaleen Raines, James Raines (Linda) of Newport, Ronnie Raines of Newport and Donnie Raines (Betty) of Newport; and her sister Betty Barnes of Newport. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson.
