He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sawyer and Martha Sawyer; and his siblings, Claude, Jim, Ralph Sawyer, Helen Carmack and Opal Combs.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Sawyer of Newport; his siblings, Charles Sawyer (Carol) of Del Rio, Kate Ricker of Hot Springs and Vinnie Ball (Joe) of Hot Springs; and his nephew Tyler Ball. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
