He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Hatfield and Jim Hatfield; his son Travas Shane Hatfield; his siblings, Edward Lee Hatfield and Sandra Bedics; and his sister-in-law Dolores Hatfield.
He is survived by: his wife Christy Hatfield; his stepson Joshua Adams of Jacksonville, FL; and his brothers, Richard "Dick" Hatfield of Galax, VA and David Wendell Hatfield of Hernando, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
