He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldridge Costner and Lula Bell Sams; his siblings, Linda West, Mary Lil Norwood, Shirley Holt, Jane Collins, Judy Hicks, Kathy Willis, Randy Sams, Johnny Sams and Tommy Sams; and his close friend Delana Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Eugena Costner; his son Jimmy Costner (Crystal); his grandchildren, Jimmy Austin Costner, Cianna Davis and Trinity Smithers; and his siblings, Wanda Phillips (Mike) of Newport and Sammy Costner of Parrottsville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
