He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Giles McCraney and Palmer Giles; and his friend Richard Bradford of Laurel. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Grafton Giles; his daughters, Jennifer Lacy, Amy Williams, Mary Ellen Allen and Emily Arrowood; his grandsons, Jared McAlister, Elijah Lacy and Uriah Williams; and his siblings, Paul Giles and Marilyn Pickering. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
