He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wood Shelton; his children, David Shelton, Tommy Shelton and Julie Shelton; his sister Shirley Giles; his granddaughter Katie Shelton; and his great grandchildren, Forrest Shoemaker and Travis Shoemaker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
