He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene Amende Thomas (Elizabeth Cutshaw); his son James Thomas; his parents, Frank Thomas and Susie Thomas; and his siblings, Marvin Thomas, Harold Thomas and Juanita Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Thomas of Knoxville, Herb Thomas of Newport and Debra Thomas Holt of Newport; his grandchildren, Ashley Thomas of Newport and Taylor Thomas (Kiki) of North Carolina; his close friend Patricia Ann Sisk; and also Catalina Sisk of Newport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, his caregiver.
