She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Steelman and Edna Steelman; her husband Carl Coggins; her siblings, Beatrice Ricker, Suzanne Amoroso and Bud Steelman; and her son-in-law Randy Denton.
She is survived by: her children, Berneice Rawdon (Wayne) of Newport, Doris Cannon of Newport, Lynnette Denton (Randy) of Newport, Laura Munn (Ronald) of Newport and Donald Coggins of Des Moines; and her siblings, Mary McMahan of Jacksonville, NC, Violet Lindsay (Ray) and Charles Steelman (Rose) of Fletcher, NC.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her church, Newport Church of God of the Union Assembly.
