It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Faye Proffitt of Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Rush and Doshie Rush; her sister Sue Lamb; and her nephew Gary Proffitt. She is survived by: her husband Dan Proffitt; her children, Kathy Martin (Michael Martin) and James Proffitt; her grandchildren, Taelor Banks (Jason Banks), Victoria May, Grant Proffitt and Tessa Proffitt; and her great grandchild Bodhi Banks.
