He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Hance and Louise Hance; and his grandparents, Allen William, Allie France Hance, Harvey and Evelyn Hux Cashen.

He is survived by: his wife Penn Hance; his brothers, Marc Hance (Kathy) and Marlon Hance (Lisa); his nephews, Curtis Hance (Vivian) and Cody Hance (Heather); his niece Macey Moore (Tyler); his sister-in-law Rita Hance; and his aunts, Edna Hance and Mary Kate Pack.
