It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Haskell Wood (Newport, Tennessee), who passed away on October 20, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burke Wood and Nora Mantooth Wood; and his brother-in-law Everett Parks. He is survived by: his wife Marie Cureton Wood; his daughter Kristie; his son-in-law Steven Suggs; and his sisters, Dorothy Parks and Betty Cothran (George "Chunk"). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, also other family and friends.
