He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Shoemaker; and his children, Dale, Bruce Shoemaker and Lorri Baxter. He is survived by: his daughter Carlene Rice (Danny) of Newport; and his grandchildren, Jason Shoemaker, Patrick Shoemaker, Jonathan Shoemaker, Jacob Baxter, Jordan Baxter and Peyton Sass.
