It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Wilder (Newport, Tennessee), who passed away on May 13, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Carolyn Wilder; his parents, Horace Wilder and Georgia Wilder; and his brother Ray Wilder. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Pullum Wilder; his children, Veronica "Ronnie" Tenut (Jeff) of Hendersonville and Jeffrey Wilder (Keela) of Newport; his grandchildren, Jennifer Tenut Robinson (Andrew), Savannah Tenut Virgin (David), Morgan Brooke Wilder and Jeremy Edward Tenut; his great grandchildren, Julianne "Jules" Violet Robinson and Elsie Grace Virgin; his siblings, Ed Wilder (Diana) of Maryville, Raymond Wilder of Newport, Terry Wilder (Cheryl) of Knoxville, Dot Gaddis (Ray) of Knoxville and Sandra Griffin (Fred) of Crossville; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Pullum, Charlotte Pullum Tweed (George) of Newport, Charley Ann Pullum of Newport and Harry Pullum (Jane) of Knoxville, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and beloved pets.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice or to a favorite charity of choice.
