It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Large of Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Large and Belva Mathis Large; his brother Leroy Mathis; and his mother-in-law Reva Shuttle. He is survived by: his wife Jackye Large; his children, Keith Large and Kim Gilland; and his grandchildren, Jessica Reese (Michael), Anthony Whitlock, Amanda Caughron, Brandy Gilland, Brad Large (Penny) and Austin Large (Brandie McFarland). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, brother.
