She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmack Baxter and Lela Denton Baxter; her siblings, Mary Dawson, Ralph, John R. of Ervin, E. C., Lee Baxter and William Hart Baxter; and her parents-in-law, Frank and Lillie Clevenger Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Hollis L. Allen; her sisters, Betty Allen, Pat Martin, Brenda Shults and Carolyn Barwick; her sister-in-law Anna Kate James; her nieces, Frances Southerland and Barbara Cureton (Robbie); and her caregiver Patricia Cody. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Big Pigeon Primitive Baptist Church c/o of Elder Maurice Shults or to the American Cancer Society.
