He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gates and Eva Bullington Gates. He is survived by: his brother Wayne Gates (Patricia); his niece Elizabeth; his nephew David; his great-niece Madilynn; and his great-nephew Declan. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clark Cemetery (Hartford).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Pigeon Valley Baptist Church in Hartford for the care of Clark Cemetery.
