It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Gentry of Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, Junior Walker, Bill Walker and Dora Mae Walker; her sister Dora Sue McNabb; her parents, Stafford Gentry and Era Gentry; and her brother Stafford Gentry, Jr..
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Walker; her grandchildren, Christy Dickey, Daniel Walker, Timmy Walker, Jimmy Walker and Codi Phillips; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Bryce Walker, Ethan Harvey and Reece Dickey; and her siblings, Eula Mae Overholt, Diana Grooms and Ennis Gentry. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
