She was predeceased by: her husband Reuben David Carlson; her parents, Charles Kojola and Aili Savela Kojola; and her brothers, Robert Carlson and Allen Carlson.

She is survived by: her son Jeffery Allen Carlson. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
