He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Sophie Reid; his parents, Otis Sutton and Linda Sutton; and his siblings, LeRoy, Johnny, Jim Sutton, Stella Mae, Elsie, Delsi Sutton and Elizabeth Lunsford.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Sutton; his grandson Stephen Phillips; his daughter Christy Lloyd (Tim); his grandchildren, Addie Reid (Jordan), Daniel Phillips (Faith) and Jonah Lloyd; his great grandchildren, Luna, Aurora Reid and David Phillips; his siblings, Mary Carrell Sage, Cordelia Shell, Ann Phillips (Roy), Doris Bell (Amos) and Mike Sutton (Sandra); his siblings-in-law, Mary Napier (Terry) and David "JD" Clevenger (Lavonda); and his nieces and nephews, Sarah Eldridge, Beth Peavler (Wayne), Jonathan James (Alisha) and Kristoffer Sutton (Kalsea). He is also survived by cousins and friends.
