He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Starnes and Bea Starnes; his son Craig Starnes; and his siblings, Junior and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Norton Starnes; his children, Dee Starnes Stewart and Joe Starnes (Kristen); his grandchildren, Makendra, Camryn, Addison and Audrey; his great grandchildren, Admiral and Cheyson; and his sisters, Peggy Parks and Evelyn McNamara. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Food Pantry at Swannsylvania Baptist Church.
