She was predeceased by: her husband Rufus Laws; her parents, Winfield Scott and Willie Mae Brown; and her siblings, Linda Lee Brown Green, Scott Brown and Danny Brown.
She is survived by: her son Stacy Laws; and her siblings, Will Brown, Debbie Brown of Grassy and Rosie Brown Coffman (Wayne) of Kingsport. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
