It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn V. Shelton of Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Shelton; her sons, Robbie Shelton and Tommy Dean Shelton; her granddaughter Amber Hux; and her parents, Robert Owens and Zora Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Shelton (Angela) of Parrottsville, Jonathan Shelton (Christy Couch) of Maryville, Reva Hux of Greeneville and Dreama Shelton (Chris Hurley) of Newport; and her siblings, John Owens of Newport, Jimmy Owens of Newport and Betty Sue Short of Morristown. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, also other family and friends.
