It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby Knight of Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on December 27, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Kalenda Knight; his parents, Elmer Knight and Betty Knight; his parents-in-law, Edward and Kate Woods; and his brother Oscar Allen, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Catrina Knight; his pet Dixie; his son Ryan; his daughter-in-law Tammy Knight; his grandchildren, Hannah Knight, Tyler Knight and Savannah Tallent (Caylor); his great grandchild Rylinn Rainwater; his brother Ronnie; and his sister-in-law Pat Knight. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and may other family and friends.

The family request that everyone follow CDC guidelines and practice safe social distancing, and masks are highly recommend.
