He is survived by: his wife Meta Pilgrim Holder of Newport, TN; his son Chris Lane; his brother Winston Pilgrim; his half-sisters, Shirley Elrod and Marylon Moore Buckner; his grandchildren, Chase, Crystal, Elizabeth, John and Anthony; his great grandchild Braelyn; and his cousins, Linda Wagner and Jackie Gosnell of Hot Springs, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
