He was predeceased by: his parents, David Arthur and Bessie Hicks Williams; his siblings, Kate Huff, Marjorie Webb, Ellis, Hollis and Dib Williams; and his son Christian Dean Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Williams; his daughters, Amy Pitts (David), Sharon Daugherty (Carl) and Jennifer Greene (James); his grandchildren, Megan McReynolds (Rickey), Kathryn Williams, Noah Pitts, Drake Daugherty and Turner Dean Williams (Riley); his great grandchildren, David, Jacob, Benjamin Greene and River Williams; and his daughter-in-law Amanda Williams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers gifts may be made to the Arthur Dean Williams Scholarship Fund at First Baptist Church, 599 Amanda Circle, Newport, TN 37821.
