Alma Ruth Melton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Ruth Melton (Newport, Tennessee), who passed away on May 7, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ruby M. Hurley; her daughter Brenda L. Melton; and her great grandchild Erik Lopez, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Yvonne Gath (Gary) of Inman and Christine Deleon (Jose Luis) of Newport; her grandchildren, Wayne Melton of Ohio, Ryan Gath, Christopher Garland, Sarah Garland, Amber Kula and Jasmine Garland; and her siblings, Roger Hurley of Ohio, Shirley Webb of Ohio and Deborah Hurley. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations sent to ASPCA in her memory.
