She was predeceased by: her parents, A. E. Balthrop and Gladys Brown Balthrop; her husband Joe Ladd; and her siblings, Edd Balthrop, Ralph "Shorty" Balthrop, Billy Balthrop and Jo Ann Ladd.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Joe Ladd (Karen) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Lori Ladd Neal (Tim) of Bradford, Tennessee; and her sister Kate Ladd of Atoka, Tennessee. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
