We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2020, at the age of 92, Sue Akin of Newbern, Tennessee passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sue Akin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvis Austin and Johnnie Austin; her husband Burnie Akin; and her son-in-law David Reynolds. She is survived by: her children, Diane Ross, Tippy Yarbrough (Theron), Tina Reynolds and Tim Akin (Ellen); her grandchildren, Tracy Coleman Rob Anderson (Christie) and Steve Anderson Richie Berry (Jennifer); and her children, Sue, Rob Anderson, Tracy Coleman, Steve Anderson, Eric Coleman, Richie Berry, Brad Berry, Trevor Yarbrough and Clint Ross. She is also survived by twenty-eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to First Baptist Church, 114 West Main Street, Newbern, Tennessee 38059.
