He is survived by: his son Doug Bryant (Amy); his granddaughter Claire Ophelia Bryant of Richmond; his mother Ophelia Ruth Bryant; his sister Paula Davis (Jackie); his cousin Robin Drinkard (Jean); his niece Holly Fortner (Joey); and his pet Dixie.
