It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Hilliard of Newbern, Tennessee, born in Dyer, Tennessee, who passed away on May 19, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William David Hilliard and Mollie Garrison Hilliard; his wife Joann Dodson Hilliard; his son Dr. Alvin C. Rose; and his siblings, Betty Manley, Ella Hungerford and Leonard Hilliard.
He is survived by: his son Tim Rose (Paula) of Newbern, Tennessee; his siblings, W. D. Hilliard of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Ola Mae Hawks of Conway, Arkansas; his daughter-in-law Jeanne Rose of Ashland City; his grandchildren, James Rose of Nashville, Benjamin Rose of Ashland City, Tennessee, Cody Rose of Newbern and Catelyn James (Maurice) of Cheyenne; and his great grandchild London James of Cheyenne, Wyoming..
