He was predeceased by: his parents, Brown Sharpe and Eva Rush Sharpe; and his siblings, Vernon Sharpe, Marie Crenshaw, Winnie Holloway and Glenda McCulloch.
He is survived by: his wife Corene Ashley Sharpe of Newbern, Tennessee; his children, Marty Sharpe of Newbern, Tennessee, Jacque Hammons of Dyersburg and Brenda Carter (Tim) of Newbern, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Justin Vestal, Ross Carter and Rosa Castleman; and his great grandchildren, Carlee, Allie and Baylee.
In following with the Covid-19 guidelines, a limited visitation for Mr. Sharpe will be held on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
