He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Lorenz Huntley James; his son John E. Huntley; his grandson John Huntley; his siblings, Robert Huntley and Laverne Schinzing (Betty Huntley Smith); and his son-in-law Phil Benne.
He is survived by: his father Ora Huntley; his wife Mary Jane Hooker Huntley of Newbern, Tennessee; his daughters, Debbie Benne of Hanna City and Jeanne Donald (Tim) of Waterloo; his stepson Geno Hoge (Melissa) of Waterloo, Illinois; his sister Marlene Crawford of St. Louis; and his daughter-in-law Dawn Huntley. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
