He was predeceased by: his father Rex H. "Toby" Thurmond; and his grandfathers, Rex H. Thurmond II (Peggy) and Warren Clark (Sarah). He is survived by: his children, Quinton Thurmond of Newbern, Tennessee and Taylor Thurmond of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his mother Carol Clark Harris (Mike) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his uncle Glenn Richard Thurmond (Madeline) of Memphis, Tennessee; and his brother Chris Thurmond (Pennye) of Dyersburg, Tennessee. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059).
