He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Valentine Heathcott and Earle McClarin Heathcott; his wife Frances "Sunny" Heathcott; his son Rudy Lynn Heathcott; and his siblings, Joe Raymond Heathcott, Eldon Heathcott, Rupert Heathcott and Ada Ruth Hina.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Christy Heathcott Fowler of Dyersburg and Scotty Heathcott (Christy); his great grandchildren, Destinei Heathcott of Nashville and Kodi Henson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; and his siblings, Darl Henley of Marion and Larry Heathcott of Memphis, Tennessee..
