She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Morris and Madie Glidewell Morris; her husband James B. Kilzer; her sons, Benny Kilzer, Jeff Kilzer, Cal Kilzer and Danny Kilzer; her siblings, James Earl Morris, Nannie Duncan and Irene Sorrell; and her grandson Robert "Chris" Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughter Elisa Mathis of Newbern; and her grandmother Singleton (Dennis) of Newbern. She is also survived by "Memaw" to her eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
