He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris Benford Long and Nellie B. Sanders Long; his wife Debra Hedgepath Long; and his brother Bobby Long. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Wayne Hedgepath (Tiffany) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Ashley Johnson (Josh) of Newbern, Tennessee; his brothers, Harris Long (Dorothy) of Union City, Tennessee, Terry Long (Sue) of Hickman and James Long (Jackie) of Union City, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Baylee Hedgepath, Makayla Campbell, Taylor Hedgepath, Joleigh Johnson, Kay Lynn Johnson and Lizzie Hedgepath. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
