It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Helen Ladd of Newbern, Tennessee, who passed away on July 10, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Helen Ladd to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, DeWitt Pope and Ruby Harrington Pope; her husband Richard Ladd, Sr.; her son Richard "Buddy" Ladd, Jr.; and her siblings, Murray L. Pope, Paul Pope and Dorothy Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara J. Keating of Millington, Tennessee; her daughter-in-law Mary Kate Ladd of Atoka, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Sherrie Wood (Mike), Terri Nelson (James), Jerry Ladd (Lauri), Karen Moreschi and Rick Keating (Amy). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the Newbern First United Methodist Church, 107 West Main Street, Newbern, Tennessee 38059.
