She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Odom, Sr. and Vera Inez McCullough Odom; her husband Guyve Thomas; her brothers, Luther Odom, Jr. and Jere Odom; her aunt Mittie Bradshaw; and her uncle Will Bradshaw.
She is survived by: her sons, Stan Thomas (Anita) of Newbern, Tennessee and Jeff Thomas (Deborah) of Newbern, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Kristi Getson (Scott) of California, David Thomas (Nicky) of Newbern, Emilee French (Mike) of Newbern and Mary Kathryn Funderburk (Brian) of Newbern; her great grandchildren, Evan Thomas, Ty Thomas, Matt Getson, Luke Getson, Aaron French, Clark French and Holland Funderburk; and her brother James Odom (Bud) of Raleigh.
