He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie B. Carrell and Laura "Juanita" Miller Carrell; his former wife Janice Ann Evans Carrell; his son Lonnie Louis "PeeWee" Carrell, Jr.; and his brother Larry Mack Carrell.
He is survived by: his children, Alycia Solomon (Michael Solomon) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Kyle Lippard (Denise) of Springhill, Tennessee; his sister Linda Hulme (Wayne) of Newbern, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Niki Muncrief (Jonathan), Zachary Solomon, Cameron Lippard, Peyton Lippard and Ethan Lippard; his great grandchildren, Josh Dallas and Dalton Muncrief; his uncle Don Miller (Linda Jo); and his aunts, Edith Moore and Florence Etta "Bug" Fultz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and over one hundred cousins.
