She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dodds and Mary Dodds; her husband Ell Walters; and her siblings, Johnie Dodds and Eleanor Bradford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Medling (James) of Newbern and Lauren Williams (Shane) of Mayfield, Kentucky; her sister Janie Wylie of Newbern; her grandchildren, Mary Reed (Cameron) of Newbern, Molly Medling of Newbern, Ellie Benson (Ethan) of Murray, Kentucky and Evan Williams of Mayfield, Kentucky.; her great grandchild Walter Reed of Newbern; and her nephews, Evan Williams, Cameron Reed, Ethan Benson, Steve Dodds, Van Wylie, John William Dodds, Don Bradford and Al Bradford.
Due to the current pandemic situation, a private service for Mrs. Walters will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Main Street Church of Christ with interment in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
