She was predeceased by: her father Homer Carson Steelman, Jr.; and her son Chadwick Lynn Capps. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Frances Thompson Steelman of Ripley, Tennessee; her husband Wilford Paul Canon of Newbern, Tennessee; her sons, Timothy Morris Capps (Jane) of Newbern and Lee Canon (Rose) of Tampa, Florida; her siblings, Sammy Carson Steelman of Kennett and Pat Steelman Ennis (Charles) of Atoka; her grandchildren, Corbin Canon, Alexis Canon, Clint Capps (Tiffany) and Zac Capps; and her great grandchildren, Zeek Capps, Serenity Capps, Mara Belle Capps and Deliah Capps.
