With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joni Seron Moody of Newbern, Tennessee, born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, who passed away on January 4, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Donald Mathis; her son Malcolm Moody; and her siblings, Ginger Newsome and Eddie Mathis. She is survived by: her mother Joan Chandler Cogdell of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her son Allan Moody of Pensacola, Florida; her brother Darrell Harvey Osborne of Murfreesboro; and her grandchildren, Nathan Moody, Noah Moody, Alyssa Moody, Chandler Moody and Spencer Moody.
The family asks, that in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be directed to the funeral fund for Ms. Moody.
