He was predeceased by: his parents, John Onice Lucas and Irene Taylor Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Harrison Lucas of Newbern, Tennessee; his daughters, Kelly Lucas of Newbern and Cindy Fain (Darrell) of Humboldt, Tennessee; his sister Elaine Lucas Odom (Austin) of Union City, Tennessee; his granddaughters, Channing Fain of Humboldt, Tennessee and Danniele Fain of Humboldt, Tennessee; his nieces, Carol Hoffman (Jim) of Norman, Lynne Odom of Nashville and Ann Pratt of Nashville, Tennessee; his great-nephew Addison; and his great-niece Maya.
