He was predeceased by: his parents, John Randolph Alsup and Nona Mae Johnson Alsup; and his sister Jo Hill. He is survived by: his wife Rita Capps Alsup of Newbern, Tennessee; his daughters, Angel Poynter (Matt) of Cincinnati, Holly Pratt (Darin) of Cincinnati and Dawn Kilzer (Craig) of Dyersburg; and his sisters, Charlotte Davis of Dyersburg, Barbara Lemons of Dyersburg and Edna Patterson (Pat) of Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
