He is survived by: his wife Darlene Barbee McCurdy of Newbern, Tennessee; his children, David Earl Owens of Dyersburg, Jerry Don McCurdy, Jr. (Lauren) of Dover, Tennessee, Jessica Marie Whiteside (Terry) of Dyersburg, April Lynn Partee of Dyersburg and Chasity Renee McCurdy of Ripley, Tennessee; and his stepchildren, Michael Dale Patterson of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Brenda Lea Patterson of Dyersburg and Nancy Elizabeth Patterson of Newbern. He is also survived by his eighteen grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059).
