He is survived by: his sons, James Donald Cornwell, Jr. of Newbern, Tennessee and Terry Lee Cornwell of Newbern, Tennessee; his siblings, Raymond Cornwell of Ohio and Betty Swartz of Newtonville; his son Anthony Dale Cornwell; and his siblings, Charles Cornwell, Thelma Mae Loudermilk and Kate Loudermilk. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
