He is survived by: his children, Misty Boyd of Dyersburg and Ryan Thomason (Monserrat) of Boston, Maryland; his siblings, Mary Thomason of Tiptonville and Rex Thomason of Troy; and his grandchildren, Damon Boyd, James Boyd and Atlas Thomason.
