She was predeceased by: her parents, John Calvin Kimbrough and Lucille Grissom Kimbrough; and her siblings, J. C. Kimbrough, Johnny Kimbrough, Thurman Kimbrough, Gerald Kimbrough, Sonny Kimbrough, Bill Kimbrough, Frances Jones and Maxine Lovelace.
She is survived by: her children, James Edward Howard of Dyersburg, Gary Robert Howard (Diane) of Nashville, Kevin Ray Howard of Franklin, Tennessee, Laura Gail "Howard" May (Robert) of Newbern and Janice "Howard" Carroll of Newbern, Tennessee.; her sister Edith Carol; and her friends, Kay Hendrix, Ollie Turner, Pat Moore and Teresa Hill. She is also survived by "Grandma" and "Mamaw" to her ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund, 620A Mall Blvd., Dyersburg, Tennessee 38024.
