With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald W. Williams of Newbern, Tennessee, born in Stanton, Tennessee, who passed away on October 15, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Annie Cole Williams and Milton Williams; his wife Rebecca Norsworthy Williams; his sister Sharon Melas of Knoxville; his nephew Nigel Melas of New York; and his parents-in-law, Patricia Parnell, Jo Keeton (Jim), Mary Godwin (Don), David Norsworthy (Jane) and Charles Norsworthy (Carol).
Due to the current pandemic conditions and the family's concern for the health and well being of others a private family visitation will be held for Mr. Williams.
The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, 17th Floor, Chicago, Illinois 60601-7633 or Harmony Baptist Church, P. O. Box 178, Newbern, Tennessee.
